Payroll & Accounts Manager

We are seeking accounts a Payroll & Accounts Manager who will look after the continued financial wellbeing of the Company and contribute to its future success and growth. The position is a standalone accounts /payroll position and reports directly to the Managing Director. The role is flexible and can be approx 6 hours per day, (school hours ok) 4 -5 days per week or 4 full days per week It is a busy role you will need to be a good multi-tasker who is organised with excellent attention to details and entry accuracy.

MUST have solid working knowledge of MYOB Account Rite.

The position includes and requires experience with these responsibilities:

Payroll Guru: Good understanding of Award Interpretation using multiple award application over several states, STP – EOFY Reconciliation and declaration, Superannuation, Payroll Tax (multiple states), Workcover (multiple states) remuneration reconciliations

Accounts Receivable: Invoicing through Time billing ,Accounts receivable – Debtor management

Accounts Payable: Entering, coding, and filing creditors and expense documentation.

Statutory Compliance:  IAS & BAS, EOFY Reconciliations and declaration submissions, Licence Renewals

Banking: Electronic Transfers (ABA), Daily Reconciliation using Bank Feed

Monthly Reporting: P&L, Balance Sheets, Creditors (expense analysis), Debtors, Wage Cost Analysis

The successful candidate will have:

A Can-Do and proactive nature and work style

Payroll processing and solid award interpretation

Experience in AP, AR as well as BAS and Tax

Excellent verbal and written skills

Excellent organisational skills

Proficient and fast keyboard skills

A strong working knowledge of General Ledger and Microsoft Office
